Have you ever seen an advertisement online and couldn't resist the temptation to click on it? This is essentially what Pay-per-click (aka PPC) is. If you're the one running the 'ad campaign', then you have to pay every time a user clicks on one of your ads. Types of PPC's include Google AdWords, Bing Ads, and social media advertising -just to name a few.
